Fiber acts as a bulking agent in the stomach and intestine, which means you feel fuller and eat less when fiber is consumed before a meal.1-5 Fiber also helps maintain healthy bowel function.6 Soluble fiber is derived from the gums, pectins, mucilages, and some hemicellulose of fruits, oats, barley, and legumes. Soluble fiber attracts water and forms a gel-like substance in the process as it passes through the digestive tract. This slows digestion and lowers the rate of nutrient absorption (such as sugars and fats) from the stomach and intestine, resulting in the maintenance of both glucose and cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range.4-5,7-8
Enhanced Fiber Food Powder provides natural, bulk-producing soluble fiber. The unique blend of soluble fiber binds with cholesterol released into the intestines, helping to carry excess cholesterol out of the body. Calcium is added to enhance the property of the fiber to bind and carry excess fat out of the body, assisting in weight loss regimens by reducing fat absorption.
Soluble fiber from foods such as Enhanced Fiber Food Powder, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease.
This supplement should be taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular exercise program. Results may vary.

- Stir vigorously and drink immediately.
- Consider drinking additional water after.
- Enhanced Fiber Food Powder is not a beverage to sip. It should instead be consumed immediately after it is stirred into cold water.
- Do this only once a day for the first week or so. After your digestive system has adjusted to this fiber, try to use Enhanced Fiber Food Powder before most meals, especially heavy meals (more than 500 calories).
Caution: If you suffer from any kind of malnutrition, do not use this product. Taking this product without enough liquid can result in choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty swallowing.
Note: If your diet is low in fiber, please begin by taking only half the normal dose [3.75 grams (1/2 scoop)] instead of 7.5 grams. To avoid impeding absorption, it is suggested that medications and oil-soluble supplements be taken one hour before, or four hours after using Enhanced Fiber Food Powder. Do not take fiber supplements with oil-based products such as CLA, perilla oil, fish oil, GLA, or CoQ10.
